Part-time Accounts Assistant

£19 / hr - 8 hrs per week.
Office Based

Preference is 8:30-5:30pm Tuesday but willing to be flexible.

Energis Recruitment is recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client based near Dungannon.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and conscientious individual with a keen eye for detail to join a supportive team in a varied accounts role. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative activities of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing including PAYE and Pension submissions
• Processing monthly HMRC VAT, returns and PAYE.
• Processing Intrastat Returns, EC Sales List etc.
• Purchase ledger processing
• Journal Entries as required
• Assisting in catering requirements for Board Meetings etc.
• Assist with other business tasks within the business as requested

Criteria:

• Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting role
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Accounting qualification (desired, but not essential)
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting packages/software – Sage 200 & Bright pay (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
• A problem solver with a can-do attitude.
