Energis Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer on behalf of our client, a well-established engineering company based in Lisburn.

With over 50 years of industry experience, our client provides innovative engineering solutions to customers across a range of manufacturing and logistics sectors. The company is recognised for its high level of technical expertise and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow sales revenue.
• Proactively generate new business opportunities through market research, networking and industry engagement.
• Maintain and update customer records and sales activity within the company database.
• Develop pricing strategies and negotiate commercial agreements to secure profitable business.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers, ensuring products and solutions meet their operational requirements.
• Manage customer enquiries efficiently and deliver a high standard of service.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are delivered successfully.

The Person

• Previous sales experience within an engineering, industrial or technical environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and trust with customers.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven to achieve sales targets.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary is in the region of £36-40k depending upon experience.

Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 1pm.
